How Are You Rooted?

So for the past few nights I have been having a reoccurring dream that has been keeping me up at night. My dream was I kept seeing landscape with fruit trees, and weeds. Some weeds were being plucked up and some rotten fruit trees were being plucked up. So of course I wanted to figure out what it means. I began to dig into my bible. I found several scriptures that stuck out to me.

Then I began to remember from elementary school the lifecycle of a tree. There is a process before fruit can begin to bare. The cycle begins as seeds--> sprouts--> tree--> flowers--> fruit. In between those stages in the cycle trees need nutrients. There are many factors that play a roll in giving a tree nutrients. Some of those factors are macro nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium to in order to grow. There are many other factors that play a roll in nutrients as well but these are key and can be found in many fertilizers.

Our trees can't by surrounded by weeds they can stifle and can even kill a tree. There are several different types of weeds: crabgrass, dandelions, quackgrass, nut sedge, moss, bindweed, white clover, cinquefoil, creeping charlie, and broadleaf plantain. If we see these weeds in surrounding our friends and families trees we should help them pluck and uproot them so they too can bare fruit and thrive. If they are lacking certain nutrients we should lend a hand and provide them with those same nutrients that helps us bare our fruit and thrive.

Often times we must remember that there are some issues that are deeply rooted and the only way to have a healthy tree is a healthy foundation. We must start with not just good soil but fertile soil. Soil that is conducive to allowing our tree to gain all the proper nutrients to aid in baring good fruit and thriving.
